The Walrider is a cloud of nanites (small, nanoscopic machines) who possess great strength and power. As the screen fades to black, the Walrider can be heard attacking as the soldiers scream in terror. The soldiers open fire, but Wernicke realises that Miles has become the new host. As Miles limps towards the exit, the door opens, revealing Dr Wernicke and several soldiers. After Miles shuts down his life-support pod, the Walrider, now without a host, attacks Miles and fuses itself inside of his body, taking him as Its new host. Dr.Wernicke, who was thought to be dead, instructs Miles to shut the power off for Billy's life-support pod to kill him. In the ending of the game, Billy is in a life-support pod, so this could mean that he is controlling or influencing the actions of the Walrider in a dream. Billy's mother was in a lawsuit against Murkoff and the Asylum. It is the main antagonist in the game. It is mentioned a lot in the game, and can be seen after Miles escapes from Doctor Trager and from the Male Warden.įrom the case files, Billy is 19 years old, and he claims to have progressed self-directed lucid dream states.
